Production-Driven Design: From MVP to Sustainable Architecture

Some requirements cannot be identified through the standard process of collection and analysis—they emerge only through interaction with an already functioning system. In this sense, an MVP isn't a failure of analysis but a deliberate acceptance of "requirements debt": we deliberately do not work through all business cases in order to more quickly validate a hypothesis. The problem begins when this debt is addressed by treating only the symptoms: architectural integrity is undermined, and the ability to perform systems analysis atrophies over time.

In this talk, we'll discuss why this dynamic is a normal design scenario, but one that requires skill. Production-Driven Design isn't an extreme but a balanced approach—a path to conscious debt management. This will be useful for analysts, architects, and product managers who are already panicking over the endless stream of incidents.
